What this website is

These pages are general information about how bail works in Dallas County and about the services we offer. They are not legal advice, they do not create an attorney-client relationship, and they are no substitute for talking with a licensed attorney about a specific case.

Nothing on this site is an offer to write a bond or a guarantee that one will be written. Whether a bond can be posted depends on the charge, the bail amount, the co-signer, and the facts of the case, and that is decided in conversation with a licensed agent, not by reading a web page.

Timing, amounts, and outcomes

Bail amounts, court settings, transfer decisions, and release times are controlled by courts, sheriffs, and detention facilities, not by us. Where this site describes how long something usually takes, that is a description of typical experience and not a promise. We do not guarantee any particular release time or case outcome.

Bail bond services

Bail bond services are provided by licensed agents under Texas law, including the Texas Occupations Code provisions governing bail bond sureties, and under the rules of the applicable county bail bond board. Every bond is subject to a separate written agreement signed at the time the bond is arranged, which sets out the premium, any collateral, the payment terms, and the responsibilities of the defendant and any co-signer or indemnitor. Where this website and that signed agreement differ, the signed agreement controls.

Starting online

The links on this site that begin the bail process online take you to a portal hosted by our bail software provider on a separate website. That portal has its own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for its availability, and starting an application there does not by itself create a bond.

Accuracy and availability

We work to keep office addresses, phone numbers, hours, and process descriptions current, but details change and errors happen. The site is provided as is, without warranty that it will be error free, complete, or continuously available. Links to other websites, including mapping services and the online bail portal, are offered for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Acceptable use

Please do not use this site to break the law, to interfere with its operation or security, to scrape or republish its content at scale, or to misrepresent yourself as connected with Cowboy Bail Bonds.

Intellectual property

The text, graphics, logos, photography, and design of this site belong to Cowboy Bail Bonds or are used with permission. You may read, print, and share pages for your own personal use. Copying or reusing them for commercial purposes requires our written consent.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, Cowboy Bail Bonds is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or from reliance on its general information. Nothing here limits any obligation we owe you under a signed bail bond agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law rules, and venue for any dispute lies in Dallas County, Texas.

2. We will not be liable for any delays in the receipt of any SMS messages, as delivery is subject to effective transmission from your mobile service operator. SMS message services are provided on an as is basis, and we make no warranty, express or implied, and all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby disclaimed.
3. Data obtained from you in connection with this SMS service may include your cell phone number, your carrier's name, and the date, time and content of your messages, as well as other information that you provide. We may use this information to contact you and to provide the services you request from us.
4. By subscribing, you consent to receive text messages including alerts and updates. Up to 5 messages a day.
5. By subscribing or otherwise using the service, you acknowledge and agree that we will have the right to change or terminate the service at any time, with or without cause and with or without advance notice.
