Police say Chris Marssland allegedly tried to buy his way out of an arrest by offering 50 cents to officers.
The 41-year-old man from Boynton Beach, Florida, was spotted riding a bicycle drunk and cursing in a parking lot. Police arrived and saw him riding the bike clearly intoxicated.
Marssland said he was a”professional MMA cage fighter” and threatened to kill them while they take him into custody.
Marssland then tried to negotiate with officers while he was handcuffed, “Fifty cents to let me go.”
The man was sent to jail and charged with bribery and being drunk in public. His bond set at $1,500.
