Board Game Dispute Lands Man in Jail Article

Board games are created to encourage family bonding time and creating memories, which may sometimes be unpleasant.

A board game with dad on Christmas Day led to an argument that sent a man to jail.

Police arrived at the home of two men who were in the middle of a heated discussion over a board game. It was not identified what type of board game the father and son were playing.

The 35-year-old suspect, Benjamin Wattier, faces charges on simple assault on his father. But he is also arrested for aggravated assault on law enforcement after he bit and clamped down on an officer when he was taken into custody.

The officer only had minor injuries.
